Firstly, you will need to ‘Purge’ the machine by running hot water through the head into the portafilter, once this is done, wipe clean.
Grind & Tamp
Turn on the hopper and grind between 18 - 22g of freshly roaster beans and tap the portafilter to settle the grounded coffee before tamping. Ensure you tamp on a level surface with a consistent amount of pressure.
Firmly place the portafilter into the group head and warm your cup or glass before starting. Hit the start button and press the 2 cup button and you will see an espresso flow that imitates warm honey.
Refining the Taste
You may need to adjust the recipe depending on the type of beans/roast you are using but always aim for 1 fl. Oz or 20-30mls of liquid per cup in about 25-30 seconds.
