Smeg Sparkling Traditional Mojito Recipe With White Rum

The traditional Mojito cocktail recipe is a timeless Cuban cocktail loved for its crisp, refreshing flavour. Combining fresh mint leaves, zesty lime juice, rum, sugar and sparkling water, this iconic drink is light and invigorating making it the ideal choice for summer parties, garden gatherings or a relaxing evening treat.

1. In a durable glass, combine the mint leaves, sugar and a couple of lime wedges. Gently press with a muddler to release the fragrant oils and juices.
2. Juice the remaining lime pieces directly into the glass, then add the wedges in too.
3. Add the white rum (or coconut water for the mocktail) and add plenty of ice.
   
   
4. Top up the glass with chilled sparkling water freshly made with your Smeg Soda Maker until full.
