Our Returns Policy

If you've made a purchase within the last 28 days and are not happy with your item/s and would like to arrange a return, please contact us via telephone or email. We aim to get back to you within one working day.

The item must be returned unused, undamaged, in the original packaging and in a resalable condition. All returns should be sent to the address below along with any relevant paperwork to help us process the return/refund as soon as possible.

Return FAQs

Can I change my existing order?

Please contact us as soon as possible so that we can try to help you as much as possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to change orders if they have been already been dispatched.

My item has arrived damaged what do I do?

If your order arrives damaged or you have received incorrect product/s or quantities, please contact us within 48 hours so that we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

How long will it take to be refunded?

Once your parcel has been processed at our store we will seek to refund you within 2 working days. All refunds are processed via the original payment method i.e. card or PayPal.

Is is free to return items?

You are responsible for covering the costs of returning any non-faulty goods. Should your item be delivered to you damaged or faulty we will cover all appropriate shipping costs.

About Us

Potters Cookshop is the extension of the long-established Essex-based 'Potters of Hockley'. The Potters brand dates back to 1909 when it was founded by Inifer Potter who first established a general store and grocery before going on to expand into different departments.

After the war Deny's Potter took over from his father and began a gradual transformation of the business, modernising the shop front in the 1960's and extending again in the 1970's. In 2008 the store was again extended to cater for a growing range of products and in 2009 the brand turned 100 years old.

Since then the store has undergone further transformations to make it even bigger and able to offer more exciting brands and items. To celebrate the launch we undertook a full week of exciting events with special guests including TV chef and School of Wok founder Jeremy Pang and Great British Bake Off Winner Candice Brown.

Even after 100 years, the Potters brand remains completely independent and family run.
