Excellence in Housewares Awards Finalists 2017
It's official! Potters Cookshop is one of the UK’s best retailers for products for the kitchen, table and home.
Here at Potters Cookshop we are delighted to have been selected as finalists in four categories of the 2017 Excellence in Housewares Awards. The awards, now in their 18th year, are organised by Progressive Housewares magazine in conjunction with the Cookshop and Housewares Association. The Awards recognise and reward the UK’s top housewares retailers as well as the best new housewares products.
Our Cookshop, based in Hockley, Essex, is a finalist in the following categories: Cookware and Housewares Retailer of the Year, Excellence in Retail Display, Excellence in Retail Initiative and Retail Employee of the Year. Management and staff are thrilled to be finalists in these prestigious awards, which are widely recognised as the ‘Oscars’ of the housewares industry. “In an increasingly competitive market, we are pleased to be recognised as a key retailer in the cookware and housewares industry. We work hard to bring our customers exciting and innovative products and are very proud of our customer service” commented Tom Carter, Director at Potters.
The Excellence in Housewares Retailer Finalists were selected as a result of an exhaustive industry-wide poll of housewares suppliers along with nominations and submissions in certain categories. These were then short-listed before being validated by a panel of industry experts. According to Jo Howard, editor of Progressive Housewares magazine, “There was an unprecedented level of competition this year, and the high calibre of all of our finalists goes to show how retailers are upping the game to provide service and customer experience. Congratulations to all of our impressive line-up of finalists for the Excellence in Housewares Awards 2017.”
The winners will be unveiled at a lavish awards event on October 4 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.
