KitchenAid is an award-winning kitchen appliance brand with over 100-years experience in creating reliable appliances for homes around the world. KitchenAid is renowned for their colourful collection of iconic Stand Mixers, Kettles and Toasters.
We love them all, but we especially love the Stand Mixers. No doubt you will have spotted them on The Great British Bake Off, and The Great Celebrity Bake Off for ‘Stand Up To Cancer’; if Mary Berry approves then you know that they must be pretty fantastic!
So in light of KitchenAid’s 100th Birthday this year, we bring you our KitchenAid Stand Mixer blog – enjoy!
A Little Bit of History
100 years ago, in Ohio, Herbert Johnson invented the 'H5'; the first household eggbeater. During testing, the wife of one of the company directors exclaimed “It’s the best kitchen aid I’ve ever had!”; and so the brand name ‘KitchenAid’ was born. KitchenAid has since never stopped inventing and improving innovative solutions for gourmets and cooks. All KitchenAid appliances sport fine craftsmanship, durability, sophisticated materials, sturdiness and meticulous attention to detail. True quality!

KitchenAid products not only look and perform amazingly, but their pink products contribute to charity too. In 2003, KitchenAid’s partnership with ‘Cook for the Cure’ began in the USA and later expanded to Europe, supporting the Susan G. Komen Foundation in the fight against breast cancer. A special edition pink collection was designed, and for each pink product sold in the UK a portion of its proceeds is donated to the UK’s Breast Cancer Haven.
